I got up early Monday morning to pack my things and head for Eldoret in Kenya where I had a flight to Nairobi. During my stay in the Kerio Valley there has been a power outage, which means that I have not been able to get any hot water. Therefore, I also enjoyed arriving at the hotel in Nairobi and getting myself a well-deserved shower.

I also spent some time talking to my family at home.

The next day I had to get up early in the morning to reach the shuttle bus to the airport where my flight to Arusha departed. I arrived at my hotel and went to the local supermarket. Unfortunately, the Internet connection is not very good in this area and there are often power cuts.

In the afternoon I went to a meeting with our local Tanzanian Country Manager Ian to talk about insurance and storage of our batteries. It went really well! Afterwards, Per, who is a partner in our NCF project, visited me and we went out to eat at the local streetfood barbercue. We got a great, big meal.
